OUR STATICS
Education will be treated as a strategic agent for transformation of mindsets and for the creation of a well-educated nation, sufficiently equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to competently and competitively solve the development challenges facing the nation.
Priority Issues
HEDO has defined its strategic direction by clarifying its mandate and making analysis of its external and internal environment and to maximize the impact of its work, the Organization will, within the three years of its strategic plan focus on addressing the following priority issues:
- Provision of care and education to the children from age 2 and above.
- Capacity Building to the Youth on Life Skills
- Entrepreneurships Development for Young Single Mothers.
- Improvement of Reading Skills for Primary and Secondary School Students.
- Promotion of Partnership for Volunteering Services.
- Enhancing Human Resources Management and Good Governance.
- Resource Mobilization and Financial Management.
We have a number of achievements over the past years of programming and implementation, the following is a summary of key achievements that are worth celebrating: –
- We have enrolled 738 children since 2011 to 2023.
- The Organization has contributed to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS to youth, woman and children
- It has contributed to promoting and protecting children rights by campaigning against child labor.
- It has increased entrepreneurship skills among women groups
